    "Le P’Tit Gars" Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc 2023
  • Côtes-du-Rhône AOC Blanc, Le P'Tit Gars from Domaine de L'Oratoire Saint-Martin guarantees an explosion of freshness. We are in the Rhone Valley, in the renowned Cairanne area, where the limestone and clay soils provide a perfect habitat for growing quality grapes. In this case, the blend is composed of Marsanne, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc grapes. Harvested by hand when fully ripe, they are processed in the cellar in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures in wooden vats for several months, acquiring a beautiful complexity. Brilliant straw yellow in colour, the nose immediately reveals a beautiful bouquet of floral and fruity aromas, with notes of citrus, white peach and white flowers. In the mouth, it is fresh and fragrant, with pleasant acidity and a lingering finish. Ideal with fish dishes, shellfish and fresh cheeses.

Over three hundred years of history, ten generations of the same family have succeeded each other at the helm of the Domaine and the cultivation of these wonderful vineyards. Since 1984, then, the Alary family has created a winery of the highest quality, known and respected in France as one of the best in the Côtes-du-Rhône Villages appélation. Today, the Domaine has changed ownership, having been acquired by Château Mont-Redon, a major producer in Châteauneuf-du Pape. However, the new ownership has undertaken to maintain the same assumptions: organic farming and very low yields per hectare.
