The estate's vineyards lie on sandy and gravelly soils, characterised by optimal drainage and a mineral richness that lends richness to the grapes. The temperate climate does the rest, creating an ideal environment for the fruit to ripen. The protagonists of this Pomerol are Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, the three noble representatives of the Bordeaux area. Merlot, present in the majority in the blend, gives the wine softness, roundness and intense fruity aromas. The Cabernet Franc brings structure, elegance and a spicy note that completes the bouquet. The Malbec adds a touch of roundness and complexity. In the glass it has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The nose reveals a complex and fascinating wine, with fruity notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and plum. Then spicy hints of black pepper and liquorice as well as delicate floral nuances of violets. In the mouth, it conquers with its soft, velvety structure, enveloping the palate with an elegant body and fine, silky tannins.
