You certainly won't go wrong buying this Le Prélat de Pape Clément, 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Impossible to imagine a more Bordeaux-style cut than this. Super careful harvest, preceded by careful selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, processing takes place in stainless steel tanks. A very traditional winemaking process that culminates with a maturation phase in wood lasting about 14 months, in barriques of course. The result is a red characterized by a beautiful deep color and a distinctly fruity character. Berries, nuts and hazelnuts, chocolate and sweet spices. In the mouth, then, it proves to be a full-bodied wine with round tannins and a long and satisfying finish. An excellent companion for lunches and dinners with friends, it is at its best when paired with grilled red meats.
