Together with Barolo, Barbaresco is the most iconic wine of Piedmont. It is produced in the Langhe, an area historically dedicated to wine-growing, where it undergoes a long ageing process in wooden barrels, which gives it its characteristic elegance perceptible on the nose and in the mouth.
