Closérie des Alisiers presents this classic Bourgogne Pinot Noir, 100% Pinot Noir, from the estate's beautiful vineyards tended by the well-known winemaker Stephane Brocard, in collaboration with organic winegrowers from the region. In this case, the vines are located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the most vocated area for the production of this vine, and more precisely between Marsannay and Couchey. Here, the soils consist mainly of clay and calcareous marl, with an abundant presence of stones. The vines, aged between 30 and 45 years, are cultivated in a sustainable manner. Traditional vinification, after racking the wine matures for about a year in French oak barrels, before bottling and final marketing. This Bourgogne Rouge has a ruby red colour with garnet hues. The nose is strong, with hints of red fruits, strawberries and plums, then light floral notes, mushrooms and undergrowth. The finish, however, is characterised by a nice spiciness. The palate is fine, with fruity notes and a light spiciness on the finish. Fresh, aromatic and juicy, this Pinot Noir is characterised by fine, velvety tannins.
