Produced by Château La Lagune, this prestigious Haut-Médoc 3ème Cru Classé fully represents the style and elegance of the great reds of Bordeaux. The result of biodynamic cultivation, the grapes are grown in an environmentally friendly manner. In its blend, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, which alone accounts for 70% of the mass, followed by 20% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Gentle extraction and rapid fermentation give the wine an intense colour and a delicate tannic texture. The post-fermentation maceration increases the complexity and structure of the wines, giving them aromatic richness, intensity and freshness. In the glass it has a beautiful, deep, dense colour, with enveloping aromas of blackcurrants, dried herbs, paprika, orange peel and tobacco leaves. Medium-bodied, it has fine, polished tannins. In the mouth it is silky, elegant and persistent, providing an unforgettable sensory experience. Perfect to be enjoyed throughout a meal, it goes well with red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses.
