Château Cantemerle Haut Médoc is a precious Bordeaux wine from one of the appellation's most famous areas. We are in the heart of Haut Médoc, on the left bank of the river estuary. Its blend includes, 68% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, to which 23% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot are added. Virtually all grapes from the region, for a wine that plays everything on complexity. The grapes, hand-selected before crushing, are left to ferment in contact with their skins until all color and the noblest tannins are fully extracted. Then, after racking, the wine is left to age for one year in medium-toasted French oak barrels, at least 40 percent of which are first-pass. A fabulous wine from its terroir, Château Cantemerle is characterized by its deep and super expressive color. The nose stands out for the beautiful note of red and dark berry fruit, then rose petals, spices and sweet pipe tobacco. In the mouth, on the other hand, what is surprising is its great balance and sense of harmony that can be perceived from the very first sip. Not to be missed!
