    Spumante Falanghina Brut
  • A truly versatile bubbly? Without a doubt this one! It is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of Campania's finest wineries, from one of the region's many fabulous native grape varieties, Falanghina. But let us proceed in order. A sparkling Charmat Method wine, 100% Falanghina, this wine is the result of careful grape selection and vinification. Soft pressing of the grapes and second fermentation in autoclave, as per the Italian method. Brilliant straw yellow, in the glass it reveals a very fine perlage and soft foam. The nose presents floral and fruity notes. Fresh and lively in the mouth. Then enveloping and silky. The finish is long and persistent. Do we really want to put it at ease? Let's propose it at an upcoming aperitif with friends. Success will simply be guaranteed. It goes well with fresh soft cheeses, first courses with vegetable sauces, seafood risottos and white meats.

There is a subtle fil-rouge that unites everything that has been done at Feudi di San Gregorio since its inception in 1986. It is the desire to make the most of the inestimable heritage of indigenous grape varieties from the Campania region. Starting with Greco, Fiano and Aglianico, true regional flagships. Today, the company can count on a total of 300 hectares of vineyards, subdivided into more than 800 parcels that differ in altitude, exposure and slope. A marvellous natural jigsaw puzzle that perfectly expresses the biodiversity of the land, and is capable of producing extraordinary cru. It is currently one of the leading wineries in Southern Italy, with exports covering more than 50 countries worldwide. The experience gained over the years therefore led the Capaldo family, who have always been the mind and soul of the company, to decide to explore the wine potential of other regions of Italy. Thus the 'Tenute Capaldo' project was born, encompassing a complex of wineries ranging from DUBL, also from Campania, to Campo alle Comete in Tuscany, passing through Basilisco, an organic winery in Vulture, Ognissole, a biodynamic winery in Apulia, Sirch, in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, and ending with FedeGraziani, a small jewel on the slopes of Etna. All realities united by the same values: to produce wines of excellent quality while respecting the territory they belong to.
