It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards classified as Grand Cru located in the communes of Chouilly, Cramant, Avize, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. The Côte des Blancs, this should be remembered, is a region renowned for its chalky soils, which give the wines a distinctive minerality. The Chardonnay grapes that make up this Champagne also benefit from a cool and temperate climate, ideal for their slow and uniform ripening.
