Waris Larmandier

Children who interpret, and radically change, their parents' work. This is the case of the Waris-Larmandier winery. We are in Avize, in a Domaine founded in 1989 by Marie-Hélène and Vincent Waris. Since 2000, with the untimely death of her husband, it is Marie-Hélène who has passed on her love of the land and wine to her three children: Jean-Philippe, Pierre-Louis and Inès, the sixth generation of winegrowers. The new generation has the task of modernising the company, introducing new practices in the vineyard and cellar. They have thus switched to biodynamics, a whole new way of feeling and looking after the vineyard. The Champagnes 'of the house' are characterised by a strongly identifiable style.
