"Dindarello" Moscato Passito Veneto IGT 2023
  • Another interesting sweet wine. Another creation from the Maculan winery. In this case, however, the starring grape is not Vespaiola, but the more common Moscato. Dindarello, Veneto IGT Moscato Passito is produced from grapes harvested on the Breganzese hills, in the province of Vicenza, on volcanic and tuffaceous soils. The grapes are dried for about a month in the drying room and then vinified in stainless steel to preserve all their primary and aromatic characteristics. Straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals an extraordinarily intense bouquet, with hints typical of the variety, of honey and flowers. Sweet and very fresh, balanced and pleasantly full, it has a long and pleasant persistence. Excellent with simple desserts such as fruit tarts and desserts with cream, the best feature of this Dindarello is its versatility, which makes it perfect for every convivial moment.

For three generations now, the Maculan family has been selecting and making wine from the best grapes in Breganze, a charming village at the foot of the Asiago Plateau. The mild climate there favours the cultivation of vines and olive trees. The hills of Breganze, for those who do not yet know, offer ideal soil for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay, but also Tai and Vespaiola. Today the company can count on about 40 hectares of land, with vines and olive trees. However, Maculan also controls around 30 selected winegrowers who bring their grapes to the winery. The company's head quarter is located in the historic centre of Breganze, a successful marriage of ancient tradition and modern winemaking techniques. From here, harvest after harvest, come the great wines, appreciated all over the world.
