There is so much grace and power in this interesting Brut Rosé, TrentoDOC, proposed by Letrari. A Metodo Classico obtained from the sparkling of Pinot Noir grapes, which are vinified in rosé, with an addition of Chardonnay grapes. All the grapes come from the company's vineyards in Vallagarina, in the province of Trento. After the fermentation phase, in the bottle, the sparkling wine is left to rest in contact with its own yeasts for a period of no less than two years. In the glass one discovers a beautiful wine, characterised by an antique pink colour, delicate and brilliant. The perlage is fine and incessant, rising from the bottom of the glass to the surface in uninterrupted chains of bubbles. The nose is intense and fine, with notes of small red fruits, such as currants, wild strawberries and raspberries. On the palate, however, one discovers a pleasantly dry, clean and elegant wine, with a delicate background of sweet almonds and musk. Remarkably persistent, this Rosé has a pleasant finish reminiscent of citrus, mandarin, pomegranate and cherry. A versatile sparkling wine, it is suitable with pasta dishes and risotto. It is also perfect with fresh cheeses and cured meats, and will not struggle to find its rightful place alongside fish starters.
