This is a terrific value wine from Italy's prestigious Franciacorta sparkling wine region. The NV Franciacorta Brut Rosé (made with 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Nero) shows a pale pink color with copper and ruby highlights. The bouquet is refreshing and straightforward. It's not too complex really, but it offers enough intensity and finesse to keep your interest. The mouthfeel is characterized by fine and persistent bubbling. Some 113,000 bottles were made.

Very pretty rose and copper color. Aromas of peaches and apples. Some strawberry too. Full body with a fine, creamy texture and a long, flavorful finish. A fruity yet subtle rosé sparkling wine. Drink now.

      Franciacorta Rosé Brut
    • If we are looking for the magic of a bubbly Rosé capable of enchanting our guests and of finding the right place on our table, this Franciacorta by Contadi Castaldi is certainly for us. The grapes are clearly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, coming from vineyards located in strategic points of the region, on well-drained soils and therefore able to give life to wines rich in fragrance and characterized by an innate elegance. In the glass it has an enchanting coral pink colour, made brighter by an uninterrupted pérlage. The bubbles bring fruity scents of great pleasure to the surface. Clear notes of red and black fruit, such as wild strawberries and currants, blackberry and raspberry. In the mouth it is decidedly dry and well-supported by a refreshing, non-invasive acidity. A Franciacorta ideal for the whole meal that can easily accompany us from appetizers to after dinner.

Founded in 1991, Contadi Castaldi is one of the most popular wineries in Franciacorta. One of those wineries that, thanks to the quality of its wines and a more than enviable consistency of production, have become over the years a real point of reference for wine lovers and experts. The company belongs, together with Bellavista, to the Moretti group. It was originally an old furnace that the visionary entrepreneur converted into a sparkling wine house. Its wide spaces and long tunnels, once used for firing bricks, in fact, proved to be perfect for the refinement of sparkling wines. One of the first wineries in Franciacorta to have developed the concept of Satèn, Contadi Castaldi offers a range of wines characterized by great elegance and a strong recognizability. The company currently has about 18 hectares of its own vineyards and is able to directly follow the entire production cycle of sparkling wines, from the production of base wines to the elaboration of wines that must rest for several months on the lees in the cellar. If Franciacorta has now become almost synonymous with quality Italian sparkling wine, part of the credit must go to the commitment of fine wineries such as Contadi Castaldi.
