Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie is one of the most interesting wines from the Loire region. It is traditionally considered the natural accompaniment to oysters, which are raised in the sea not too far from the farm. The Melon grapes are harvested at full maturity and sent through a very careful vinification process to best preserve all the finest aromas. The peculiarity of ‘Sur Lie’ wines lies in the fact that at the end of the vinification process they are bottled without undergoing any filtration and therefore remaining slightly cloudy due to the presence in the bottle of the so-called fine lees. This makes the wine richer and more fascinating. In the glass, however, it is clear but above all it surprises with its rich array of scents that range from floral to fruity and seem to never end. In the mouth it is complex but not too full-bodied. Long and pleasantly fresh.
