    Reserve De l'Abbaye Brut
  • Crémant Réserve de l'Abbaye by Arthur Metz is a classic method sparkling wine proposed in Brut version, therefore dry but not too much so, produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes. For this reason it can be defined as a Blanc de Blancs, that is a white wine made from white grapes. A sparkling wine that offers great pleasure from the first sip. Aged on the lees for about two years, it is a pleasantly rich wine. In the glass it is a beautiful straw yellow colour, with a rich and uninterrupted perlage for several minutes. The nose stands out for its aromas reminiscent of fresh fruit and bread crust. In the mouth it is characterized by a fresh and pleasantly fruity taste. Excellent as an aperitif, it can also be brought to the table to accompany a fish-based lunch or dinner.

Alsace is a particularly fascinating region of France, highly “contaminated” by neighboring Germany. It is one of the most extreme regions, climatically speaking, where white varieties, such as Riesling or Gewurztraminer, dominate. Arthur Metz is a fine representative of this region. His wines are often characterized by finesse and freshness. This is thanks to the soils on which the vines are planted and the harsh climate in which they grow. Recognized for the quality of its still wines, it is also an excellent producer of C'èmant d'Alsace, one of the most elegant French sparkling wines, outside the Champagne region.
