    "Tagliamare" Brut Nuragus
  • A quality Brut sparkling wine, Tagliamare di Argiolas comes from a pure processing of Nuragus grapes. This ancient, typical Sardinian vine is today widespread above all in the provinces of Cagliari and Oristano. A rustic grape, easily adaptable to any terrain, it has the advantage of being very generous. Argiolas harvests it in the Trexenta area, in the south of the island. After vinification, the wine rests on the lees at a low temperature until spring. Then the base wine is slowly re-fermented in autoclave for 40/50 days, with a further rest on the lees for about a month. Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and fine perlage, the nose reveals elegant notes of white flowers, nectarine, pear and citrus fruits that blend with the delicate scents of our Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it is fresh, full and savoury. Elegant and persistent, there is a perfect correspondence with what is perceived on the nose. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with delicate fish dishes. Perfect with oysters and seafood starters.

Serdiana, in the countryside of Sibiola, Sisini, Sa Tanca, Vigne Vecchie and Is Solinas. These are the five estates, covering a total of over 200 hectares, that the Argiolas family owns in southern Sardinia. These estates have been carefully chosen for their soil, exposure, climate and altitude. Each estate is different, as are the grapes that grow there and the wines that are created. The history of the Argiolas winery began in the late 1930s, when Antonio set up his new agricultural enterprise. Thanks to his commitment, for decades, the winery grew and established itself in Sardinia and beyond. This has also been the case with the arrival of his children and, today, his grandchildren. The third generation of the family. Preserving and keeping intact the wonderful Sardinian nature is an important responsibility. A daily commitment that guides the actions of the Argiolas family, every day, in every decision.
