A wine that follows an articulated vinification process, in steel for 2 months, tonneaux and barriques for more than a year and 4 months resting in the bottle. It takes time to extract from Etna Rosso DOC everything it has to offer, and to allow it to tell a story of territory and passion. The enthusiast will find a velvety ruby red colour, with garnet reflections in the glass. Hints of red fruit and vanilla, placidly ordered into complex odorous clouds. Full and harmonious to the taste, respectful of the typicality of the vines that determine its soul. Etna Rosso DOC La Gelsomina is excellent with red meats, game, tasty cheeses and dishes with intense and territorial flavours.     Gelsomina was born in Presa, a hamlet of Piedimonte Etneo in the province of Catania. It has a special relationship with Etna, made up of distant glances and hidden fears. The lava and clay soil contribute to uniquely characterizing the aromas of the grapes, which inherit peculiar traits impossible to imitate.
