Born in the heart of Piedmont, among rolling hills and picturesque villages. Gavi del Comune di Gavi DOCG Mirage di Bersano, is an elegant and typical white wine. Cortese grapes that are rooted in a calcareous-clayey soil, rich in minerals that give the wine a decisive character and a distinct flavour. The climate here is characterised by cold winters and warm but breezy summers, with significant temperature swings. Ideal conditions for optimal ripening of the grapes, rich in aromas and fragrances. Cortese, an indigenous grape with a long history, is harvested by hand in the second ten days of September. The bunches are then subjected to a soft pressing to best preserve the aromas and nuances of the fruit. Vinified in stainless steel at a low temperature, this process enhances the freshness and vivacity of the wine while preserving the fragrance of the aromas. Brilliant straw yellow in colour with greenish highlights, the nose reveals a distinctive and fragrant bouquet, with aromas ranging from refined floral notes to the most intense fruity hints of pineapple and peach. In the mouth, it conquers with its freshness, harmony and elegance. A full, soft body envelops the palate, while a fruity, lingering finish provides an unforgettable sensory experience. To be enjoyed young, it is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with appetisers, seafood and fish dishes in general. Also try it with vegetable dishes.
