Vermentino, as we know, is a grape variety that loves to grow near the sea. From Sardinia to the Maremma, its golden clusters grow well if the air is salty. With in Liguria, of course, where on the Riviera di Ponente it reaches levels of absolute excellence. Durin harvests its grapes in the Lunghera vineyards, hence the name of the wine, which are located just outside the village of Ortovero in a sunny and climatically privileged position. The result is a pleasantly dry wine, characterised by a beautiful straw-yellow colour with nuanced greenish reflections. The nose is elegant, with notes of fresh fruit, such as apricot, apple and white peach. Then sage, broom and Mediterranean scents. In the mouth it is very savoury and fresh. A wine with great structure and persistence, with hints that recall those previously perceived on the nose.
