  • Sensations Bouquet: The nose unfolds intense and full aromas reminiscent of plum, red fruit jam with sweet accents of spice. Mouthfeel: A full-bodied wine. In the mouth it is enveloping, warm, soft and expresses a very ripe fruitiness, supported by a pleasant texture of sweet tannins. Colour : A full-bodied wine.   • Vinification Sasseo is made from grapes grown in selected vineyards (40 hectares). The bunches are harvested in the first week of September, with part of the grapes slightly over-ripe on the vine. The grapes are then gently crushed and destemmed and the must ferments in steel vats at an average temperature of 26?C. The resulting wine is aged for 12 months in large Slavonian barrels and for another 6 months in the bottle.

Its unmistakable style is a perfect combination of freshness and softness, in a body with the right complexity and thickness.

    Masseria Altemura stands in the heart of Apulia, halfway between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. A unique terroir, thanks to an extraordinary light, the fresh perennial breezes of the two seas and a soil dominated by white limestone rocks and red Salento soil. The estate extends within the production area of the DOC Primitivo di Manduria, in the province of Brindisi, and gathers an ancient farmhouse of the seventeenth century and a winery of contemporary taste in one place, all surrounded by green vineyards and olive groves.
