  • The Primitivo di Manduria Riserva by Ronco ai Sassi is a rich, fruity, powerful wine with an extraordinary concentration of colour. The nose is complex with hints of ripe red fruit such as cherry, blackberry, blueberry and raspberry. In the mouth it is full-bodied, dense and structured with a spicy and complex finish. The grapes are harvested by hand trying to preserve the integrity of the grapes and the berry to allow a long maceration on the skins. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature of 25-27 degrees in stainless steel tanks followed by a long period of refinement in French oak barriques.
