    Susumaniello is a dark grape variety with a high anthocyanin content. Anthocyanins are the molecules responsible for the dark blue colour of the skin, which, once transferred to wine during fermentation, give it its dark, impenetrable red colour. A wine to discover that fits perfectly into the category of important Apulian reds. While maintaining that jaunty aura typical of lesser-known vines, the Serre Susumaniello from Cantina Due Palme is a full-bodied and structured wine, suitable to accompany the most succulent dishes. The project took shape 27 years ago with the first nucleus of 15 members who have never stopped since, ever more determined to be protagonists in the land of wine. The dream of Angelo Maci, descendant of a family of winemakers, was to create an important reality that would produce quality wines and bring the Salento wine culture to the world. And we think he has done just that, and more! Cantine Due Palme is a cooperative company that today brings together more than 1,000 vintners, who together control 2,500 hectares of vineyards distributed in the provinces of Brindisi Taranto and Lecce.
