"Parnanio" Negroamaro BIO Salento IGP 2022
  • Puglia IGP, Parananio Negroamaro is an organic red wine from the beautiful Sampietrana winery. Negroamaro, we should remember, is one of the treasures of the Puglia region, known for its robustness and ability to produce intense wines full of character. Its name suggests the characteristics of the vine, with thick-skinned berries of an intense black colour, capable of producing wines characterised by a strong taste and a slightly bitter note. Harvested by hand in the third week of September, the wine matures in the bottle for at least 12 months. Intense ruby red, hints of ripe red fruit prevail on the nose. In the mouth, however, it reveals a full, warm, soft and spicy taste. Justly tannic, it goes well with red meats and medium-aged cheeses.

More than half a century of history! "We have always produced wine directly in our cellar, only from grapes from our own vineyards, mostly Apulian 'alberelli' (small trees) over 50 years old, cared for and cultivated with love and dedication. The ultimate in authenticity, we might add, with an eye to the things that really count. Such as sustainable practices in the countryside, with integrated or organic farming, and the use of alternative energies in the cellar. All this in a beautiful social reality located in San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi. The wines on offer are the fruit of the processing of native varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia. With them also the ancient Susumaniello, Aglianico, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Lambrusco, Fiano and Verdeca. In addition to the 'international' Syrah, Cabernet, Merlot and Chardonnay that here, in the heart of our South, know how to give life to products of great pleasantness and character.
