Concentrated wine with a complex aroma and great taste impact. Goes well with great local dishes such as roast kid or "pasta china." Serving temperature 16/18 °C.
  • Vinification The grapes of the individual cultivars are harvested by hand according to their specific degree of ripeness. The vinification of the individual grapes then takes place separately to be assembled after the first racking in accordance with the harvest proportions. Manual selection of the clusters combined with a slow maceration of the grapes at a controlled temperature and a soft crushing are the basis of an enological strategy that has the sole objective of preserving the typicality and fragrance of the ripe fruit.

    "Mute" Rosso Savuto DOC 2018
  • A small DOC for a wine of great quality. We are talking about the DOC Savuto Mute, produced by Le Moire. This Calabrian red wine is made from three autochthonous grape varieties: Arvino, Magliocco Dolce and Greco Nero. The grapes of each variety are harvested by hand according to their degree of ripeness, to ensure the highest quality and typicality of the fruit. The vinification is carried out separately and is combined only after the first racking, maintaining the proportions of the harvest. In the glass the wine shows a beautiful deep and dense color, reminiscent of the power and intensity of the autochthonous grapes used. The bouquet is clear and complex, with hints of ripe berries, balsamic nuances, sweet spices and notes of licorice and tobacco. In the mouth it stands out for its good balance, with fine tannins and a pleasant fruity character. The Mute seems to be made to accompany tasty traditional Calabrian dishes such as roast kid.

    Founded in 2006, Le Moire is a company dedicated exclusively to Calabrian wine with the goal of restoring the territory. The farm covers about 6 hectares, four of which are already planted with vines, with an annual production of nearly 30 thousand bottles. Paolo Chirillo, dedicated to the production, the care of the vineyards and the bottling, has decided to return to Calabria to practice his profession as a doctor, convinced of the need to invest in the specificity and added value of wine production. The production of natural wines with high identity value, an authentic and unique expression of the terroir. All this thanks to the commitment of a team of local operators, farmers, agronomists, oenologists and graphic designers who share a passion for teamwork and detail.
