Montefalco Rosso DOC A beautiful wine with character that is the result of the union between the power of Sangiovese, 70% of the blend, the vigor of Sagrantino, 15%, and the noble pleasantness of Merlot. A variation on the theme of Sagrantino, as defined by the passionate producers of Cantina Tudernum. In this case, the grapes are vinified separately and blended only when they are placed in small oak barrels. A long forced rest made necessary by the grumpy temperament of Sangiovese and Sagrantino, both vines endowed with important tannins that clamor for the wise use of wood to be dampened. This wine has succeeded perfectly in its objective, to be paired quietly with tasty first courses but above all with grilled meats cooked to perfection. We recommend a serving temperature between 16 and 18l degrees C. So don't forget it in the kitchen for the whole evening. Otherwise you run the risk of serving it too hot. And that would be a real shame!
