The Pardi family name that has always been linked to the territory of Montefalco. First with wine. Then with textiles (Tessitura Pardi). And finally again with wine, with the new generation that has been able to project the activity founded by the great-grandparents into a modern dimension of absolute excellence. The history of Cantina Fratelli Pardi began in 1919 with the brothers Alfredo, Francesco and Alberto Pardi. In the ensuing years the children of the founders decided to follow a different path, from 1949 dedicating themselves to the production of fabrics. In 2002, however, the new generation, consisting of great-grandchildren Francesco, Gianluca Rio and Alberto Mario, decided to rebuild their great-grandparents’ old company. The 11 hectares of vineyards are all exposed to the south-east, at an altitude varying between 280 and 430 m above sea level. The new winery was inaugurated in 2003, and the traditional wines of the area are produced: Sagrantino Secco and Passito di Montefalco DOCG, Montefalco Rosso DOC and Montefalco Bianco DOC.
