A great wine from Saint-Julien. That, in a nutshell, is the description of this Château Gloria. Saint-Julien, for the sake of completeness, is a renowned wine region in Bordeaux, known above all for the production of red wines, characterised by considerable elegance, structure and longevity. It is a relatively small territory that is, however, home to some of the most prestigious wine estates in the Bordeaux region. Here, it is generally Cabernet Sauvignon that represents the majority share of the blend. With him Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Harvested by hand and vinified superbly, this Saint-Julien in the glass reveals a beautiful, intense and compact red colour. The nose offers clear touches of fresh fruit, with hints of raspberry and cherry. The body is medium. The palate is juicy and bright, with lovely creamy, well-integrated tannins. The finish is fresh and really long. On the table it goes well with meat and game dishes. Excellent with jugged hare or tasty pappardelle with wild boar sauce. Impossible to be disappointed.
