      "Centoare" Rosato Negroamaro IGP 2023
    • Another fine wine produced from Negroamaro, a red berry variety that thrives in Apulia thanks to the region's hot, dry climate and calcareous, clay soil. Its cultivation, it is worth remembering, is rooted in the millennial tradition of this land. The vines, as in this case, are grown using the alberello pruning system, typical of the area. Centoare Rosato, Puglia IGP, is one of the good traditional products offered by Cantina Sampietrana of San Pietro Vernotico (Br). Characterised by a beautiful soft pink colour, its nose is surprising for the freshness of its intense aromas reminiscent of fresh and exotic fruit. In the mouth, however, it is pleasantly dry, soft and pleasantly fresh. What characterises it, however, is above all an intense fruity and persistent aftertaste that prolongs the pleasure of drinking for several seconds. It is precisely this characteristic that makes this Apulian rosé an excellent companion for lunches and dinners. Indeed, it offers a wide range of interesting gastronomic pairings. Such as sustainable practices in the countryside, with integrated or organic farming, and the use of alternative energies in the cellar. All this in a beautiful social reality located in San Pietro Vernotico, in the province of Brindisi. The wines on offer are the fruit of the processing of native varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo and Malvasia. With them also the ancient Susumaniello, Aglianico, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Lambrusco, Fiano and Verdeca.
