  • Sensations Bouquet: An ample bouquet, with sophisticated floral scents of dog rose, accompanied by pleasant notes of black cherry and a spicy note that recalls pink pepper and ginger with a light touch of turmeric. Mouthfeel: Balance and intense freshness in a slender body, supported by a nice acidity and taut with a vibrant vein of flavour. The taste flows nicely, offering a crisp fruit, and closes on a finish of great minerality, which teases the palate. Colour : Soft and delicate, tending to powder pink, with very slight copper highlights.
  • Vinification Negroamaro di ZÏnzula is harvested in mid-September at the crack of dawn. The so-called "lacrima" or "must from draining" is obtained as a result of the grapes falling in the press, in the total absence of maceration. This technique allows us to extract a very delicate pink colour and to preserve the freshest varietal notes, reducing to a minimum tannins and bitter notes coming from the skins. The resulting wine ferments in steel tanks and remains on the fine lees for about 4 months, before a brief period of refinement in the bottle.

  • The jewel of Masseria Altemura, which celebrates the splendor of the Apulian coast, with a tribute to the most beautiful of Salento caves: the Zìnzulusa. Zìnzula seduces for the fineness of its fragrance and for the brilliance of a slender and sinuous body, crossed by a beam of light.

    Masseria Altemura stands in the heart of Apulia, halfway between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea. A unique terroir, thanks to an extraordinary light, the fresh perennial breezes of the two seas and a soil dominated by white limestone rocks and red Salento soil. The estate extends within the production area of the DOC Primitivo di Manduria, in the province of Brindisi, and gathers an ancient farmhouse of the seventeenth century and a winery of contemporary taste in one place, all surrounded by green vineyards and olive groves.
