Bolgheri is still today one of the most interesting and suggestive areas of Tuscany, famous all over the world for its history and its great wines, which over the years have created what we like to call the "Bolgheri style". In 2001, Marilisa Allegrini and her brother Walter, driven by the desire to take on a new and different project in their beloved Valpolicella, immediately fell in love with this territory, its beauty and its great potential. And here they gave life to a dream and an emotion, which today is called Poggio al Tesoro and which extends for more than 70 hectares between the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the last offshoots of the Colline Metallifere. In just a few years, Poggio al Tesoro has become one of the most dynamic and significant realities on the Bolgheri scene, capable of distinguishing itself for the excellence and originality of its wines, the expression of a marked identity.
