      "Rèmole" Rosato Toscana IGT 2023
    • Rèmole, a Rosé Toscana IGT from Marchesi Frescobaldi, is produced in Sieci, near Florence, an area rich in history and winemaking tradition. The Villa di Rèmole, the beating heart of the estate, represents over 700 years of the Frescobaldi family history. This place, with its temperate climate and fertile soil, is ideal for growing Sangiovese, the region's main grape variety. An interesting fact: Villa di Rèmole has witnessed numerous historical events and has hosted illustrious personalities over the centuries, reflecting the cultural and social importance of the area. Made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, this variety is known for its versatility and ability to express the characteristics of the terroir. In the case of Rèmole, it gives the wine freshness, fruity notes and a pleasant acidity. The grapes are harvested at the optimal moment of ripeness and undergo a soft pressing to gently extract the must. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, thus preserving the fresh and fruity aromas of the wine. After fermentation, the wine matures in steel to maintain its fresh and lively characteristics. A delicate, clear and brilliant pink colour, the nose reveals fruity aromas, predominantly citrus fruits, followed by notes of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry. Floral hints of wild rose then enrich its bouquet. In the mouth it is fresh and persuasive, with a harmony of flavours that perfectly balances freshness and flavour, offering a pleasant persistence. Ideal as an aperitif, it goes well with a wide variety of dishes. It elegantly accompanies fish, vegetable and pizza menus.

Thirty generations and over 700 years of history. With these two ‘calling cards’ the Frescobaldi company presents itself on markets all over the world as a major player with the aim of being the most prestigious producer of Tuscan wine. Today the company has an endless expanse of vineyards. We're talking about over 1000 hectares, spread throughout the most interesting wine-producing areas of the region. In each area the traditional varieties are cultivated, thanks to a perfect knowledge of the specific terroir. Never as in this case... experience really does make the difference.
