      Bordeaux Graves AOC Bio 2019
    • It belongs to AOP Graves, this interesting white Bordeaux offered here by Château Tour de Rodet. It comes from a blend of the region's three most popular white grape varieties, namely Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle. Vineyards about 19 years old, capable of producing fruit of great concentration. The harvesting, in this case mechanical, makes everything faster and allows the grapes to begin processing within hours of picking. The must, extracted by pneumatic pressing, is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, and then the wines are left to mature on their fine lees for several months. This aging, the duration of which varies depending on the quality of the vintage, gives the wine greater plumpness and smoothness. Tour de Rodet is characterized by a pale gold color. Complex and decidedly varietal, finely woody nose. In the mouth it is well balanced between fruit and freshness, with notes of peach and vanilla. Ideal with a plate of oysters or a scallop risotto.

A direct extension of the Médoc area, Graves stretches along the left bank of the Garonne from Bordeaux to Langon. Château Tour de Rodet is located 40 km south of Bordeaux in the heart of this appellation. The estate is located in the municipality of Pujols-sur-Ciron and covers about 6 hectares, where sandy and gravelly soils give the wine great finesse.
