16,000 bottles. Not one more. This is the production of this Murcian rosé, proposed by Casa Rojo. It is made from Monastrell grapes for the vast majority and Garnacha for the remainder. It is the result of a particular technique, the "salasso", which is used to produce both full-bodied red wines and fruit-rich rosés. In this case, the vineyards where the grapes come from are all located around the winery and are harvested when fully ripe, with careful selection of the best bunches. To the eye it is a soft salmon-pink colour, with abundant fine tears. The nose reveals an intense and persistent bouquet, with notes of red fruits and white flowers, accompanied by hints of peach. On the palate, thanks to its ageing on the lees, it impresses with its silkiness, with clearly recognisable aromas of strawberry and citrus fruits. A broad and persistent wine, it is super pleasant and easy to pair. As an aperitif, it goes well with both fish and meat dishes. Also perfect with pizza.
