Rosado de Malbec is a fine rosé wine produced by Bodega Séptima, located in the Lujan de Cuyo area in the heart of Argentina's Mendoza wine region. Made from pure Malbec grapes from vineyards located at 1050 meters above sea level. The grapes are destemmed directly in the press and, after a short cold maceration and soft pressing, the resulting must is kept for 2 weeks between 0°C and 2°C in contact with the suspended lees. Subsequently, the must is clarified and sent to the fermentation stage. The resulting wine is then kept for 4 months on the fine lees, acquiring a distinctive silky texture. To the eye, Rosado de Malbec shows a pale pink color with salmon hues. On the nose, there are elegant aromas reminiscent of red fruits, such as cherry, accompanied by floral notes, soft and pleasant. In the mouth, the wine offers a fresh and fruity entry, with lively acidity and juiciness that enhance its structure. The silky texture, due to contact with the fine lees, contributes to the wine's roundness, with barely noticeable tannins and a balanced medium body. The finish is long and persistent. An extremely versatile wine, it is ideal with salads, sushi, pizzas and pies. Its freshness and aromatic complexity make it an excellent match for a wide range of dishes.
