Rosa dei Frati, Riviera del Garda Classico DOC, is the very pleasant rosé proposed here by Cà dei Frati. A "high level" rosé, capable of surprising for its simple authority. Fresh and delicate but at the same time incisive, it is capable of being the star of the table. It is made from Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese and Barbera grapes. A simple vinification in steel, which begins with a brief maceration contact. Just a few hours. Just long enough to achieve the right amount of pink. The process is completed by a phase of refinement in steel, on fine lees for about 6 months, followed by another 2 months in the bottle. Pale pink of medium intensity, the nose has hints of hawthorn flowers, green apple, white almond and wild cherry. In the mouth, however, it is tasty, fresh, savoury and capable of stimulating the palate for a long time. Easy (even too easy) to drink, it invites you to the next glass, especially if paired with tasty appetizers such as cold cuts, battered vegetables or the classic caprese, the queen of summer.
