    Champagne Tornay Grand Cru Brut
  • Bouzy is a picturesque village located in the southern part of the Montagne de Reims, in the heart of the Champagne region. There is a very special atmosphere here, thanks to its stone houses, beautiful vineyards and many wine cellars that attract visitors and wine lovers from all over the world. Bouzy is known for its chalky soils, perfect for growing Pinot Noir, which not surprisingly is the main variety cultivated. The village of Bouzy, classified as a Grand Cru, produces structured and complex Champagnes, rich in unique aromas and nuances. A fine example is this Champagne Tornay, Grand Cru Brut, 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Vinified in thermoregulated stainless steel vats, at the end of the mousse, the wine matures in contact with its own yeasts for at least 3 years, before disgorging and final release. On serving, the mousse is abundant and creamy. The effervescence is very active and produces an incessant perlage. The colour is luminous and reminiscent of gold. The nose initially surprises with floral aromas of white flowers, followed by notes of ripe fruit and a delicate touch of spice on the finish. In the mouth it reveals itself to be a wine with a nice freshness, but at the same time round and ripe. The finish is well balanced. A wine with remarkable gastronomic aptitude, it goes well with asparagus, braised cod or a delicate cheese soufflé.

The Tornay-Hutasse estate is located in Bouzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims area of Champagne. Classified as a Grand Cru, the village of Bouzy is renowned not only for its famous bubbly wine, but also for the quality of its red wines. Today, the estate is run with passion and expertise by Nathalie Tornay, together with Rudy Hutasse. Today, the estate has a vineyard of around 21 hectares, spread over the most prestigious crus in Champagne. To guarantee the quality of the products, only grapes from terroirs classified as 'Premier Cru' and 'Grand Cru' are selected.
