In the case of Gorghi Tondi, the wine in question is Midor, defined not by chance as the "family wine". Its name comes from the union of Michele and Doretta, the parents of Annamaria and Clara. It is a very enjoyable pure Catarratto, a typically Sicilian wine produced with one of the oldest and most beloved native grape varieties of the island. A wine made to be served on a thousand different occasions, from an aperitif with friends to a fish-based dinner. A white that in the glass is a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose is intense, with fascinating notes of citrus and white flowers, including elderberry.
