This is how Hans Rottensteiner arrived at the creation of Kitz, Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Bianco, a blend of grapes well-suited to their terroir and capable of creating a pleasantly aromatic and drinkable wine. 30% Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio, 20% Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco, this Kitz is not only modern in its glass but also in its appearance. The name, a small curiosity, comes from the German word used to indicate the ibex cub, the animal featured in the winery's herald. Vinified only in steel, with strict temperature control, to best preserve the freshness of the initial fruit. After vinification, it is matured, again in steel, for a few months before bottling. Fresh, fruity and smooth, Kitz is the wine to open during a cheerful aperitif with friends, but it is also perfect to accompany simple fish dishes. Excellent, for example, with a rich grill or spaghetti allo scoglio.
