This Barolo, Lecinquevigne di Damilano, is the perfect synthesis of five different terroirs, understood in the broadest sense of the term, i.e. as a mix of soil, climate, exposure and traditions. Perfect for those who want to discover the full potential of this marvellous land, this Barolo DOCG is the fruit of careful processing of the grapes harvested in the various estate vineyards and skilfully transformed in the family's modern cellar. At the end of the transformation, the wine matures for a long time, as per production regulations, in large barrels, acquiring complexity and depth. In the glass it is characterised by a ruby red colour with orange reflections, and an intense bouquet with evolved notes of rose, leather and tobacco. As the minutes pass, and the temperature varies, the typical notes of violets and tar, so pleasant for true fans of the type, emerge. In the mouth, on the other hand, it is ample and enveloping, with prevailing sensations of softness and a long, persistent taste.
Damilano is one of Barolo's historic wineries with ancient traditions. Over a hundred years old, even.
