  • Sensations Intense ruby red colour with violet hues. On the nose, the hints of wild berries are reminiscent of raspberry and blueberry enriched by a light note of vanilla and cocoa. The remarkable olfactory complexity is also found on the palate in all its fullness. A wine with an excellent structure, presenting a perfect balance between refined tannin and good acidity.
  • Vinification Vinification is the traditional red wine method, with fermentation taking place at a controlled temperature with long maceration on the skins in small stainless steel tanks. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, it is placed in barriques where it undergoes malolactic fermentation, at the end of which a long period of ageing begins.     "Kelter" Lagrein Riserva Trentino DOC 2021
  • It is called Kelter, 'press' in German, and is a pure Lagrein. It is offered by Cavit, Trentino DOC Riserva, and is a fine example of territoriality. The grapes come from the Adige Valley, from vineyards on glacial or morainic terraces, with brown, moderately deep, well-drained soils. Vinification is the traditional red method, with fermentation taking place at a controlled temperature and long maceration on the skins in small stainless steel tanks. At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine is placed in barriques where malolactic fermentation takes place. At the end of this phase, the wine begins a long period of maturation in wood. After blending, it then rests in steel vats awaiting bottling. In the glass it has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of raspberry and blueberry, vanilla and cocoa are perceived. In the mouth, however, the sip is complex and structured, with a long persistence. Perfect for roasts and stews, it goes well with game and red meat.
