    "Frida Passerina Marche IGT Bio 2023
  • Frida is a beautiful Passerina from the Marche region. An organic white, characterized by great pleasantness and ease of pairing. Perfect as an aperitif, it is the right white to accompany a dinner with a delicate taste. Excellent with classic fish-based first courses, it is the wine that can also be served when you want to stay light and prepare a simple Niçoise salad, with tuna, tomatoes and eggs. Soft wine but with good acidity, fresh and balanced in the mouth. It comes from pure Passerina grapes, vinified with extreme care to safeguard the most delicate and fine scents. After vinification, there is only a quick refinement in steel for about two months, followed by a further rest period in the cellar of at least another month.

    On the hill overlooking Serra de' Conti, in the heart of the Verdicchio Classico Doc area, is the Casalfarneto winery. The word Classico, attributed to the wines produced by the winery, indicates that they come from the historic area of the appellation, which is normally indicated as the most suitable for the cultivation of Verdicchio. Today the farm covers about 60 hectares, 35 of which are planted with vines forming a single body. Of these, about 27 are planted with Verdicchio and 8 are cultivated with red grape varieties, mainly Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Casalfarneto is run according to the dictates of "Low Environmental Impact" agriculture.
