Garì is a delicate Brut sparkling wine from Cantine Nicosia. Bright and captivating, this sparkling wine has a seductive aroma, great freshness and flavour, and is made in south-eastern Sicily from the prized native Grillo variety. The grapes, grown in Contrada Bonincontro, in Vittoria, are harvested by hand, selected and sparkled with extreme care, according to the Charmat (or Martinotti) method. The result is a sparkling wine of a brilliant straw yellow colour with golden reflections, an intriguing and complex nose with notes of white pulp fruit, peach, yellow flowers and dried fruit. The perlage is fine and enveloping and introduces a fresh, full-bodied sip with excellent concentration and a pleasantly soft finish. Excellent as an aperitif, thanks to its moderate dosage it is also perfect at the table. A real gem is the combination with a citrus risotto and fresh cheeses.

Native grape varieties and international varieties well adapted to the climate of Sicily, coexist to give life to wines of great personality, produced in full respect of the environment. The headquarters of the winery are still in Trecastagni, while most of the company's vineyards are not far away, at the foot of Monte Gorna, one of Etna's many extinct craters. The company also owns vast tracts of land in Vittoria, in the Ragusano area, where Cerasuolo DOCG is produced, and directly manages large expanses of vineyards in the rest of Sicily.
