Silvaner Alto Adige DOC 2023

It comes from the Isarco Valley, one of the most suitable areas in South Tyrol for the production of white wines. Alto Adige DOC Silvaner is the result of a perfect balance between territory, vine and modern winemaking techniques. The Isarco Valley is characterised by an extremely varied climate and unique soil. The vineyards where Silvaner Liebrain is grown are located at 600 metres above sea level, on soil derived from the disintegration of porphyry. This type of soil is particularly rich in minerals and guarantees an extraordinary freshness and liveliness to the wine. The wide temperature range between day and night, due to the proximity of the mountains and the constant ventilation, helps to preserve the primary aromas of the grapes and give the wine a well-defined aromatic profile. Silvaner is an historic vine variety that has found an ideal habitat in the mountainous areas of South Tyrol. Originally from Central Europe, it is appreciated for its ability to express the characteristics of the soil and climate. In this wine, Silvaner presents itself with a fresh, elegant and pleasantly aromatic profile. Liebrain has a light straw yellow colour with greenish reflections that recall its youthful vivacity. The bouquet is fruity, with notes of melon, peach and green apple. In the mouth it is pleasantly dry, fresh and aromatic, with a balanced and refreshing finish. It is perfect as an aperitif, thanks to its freshness and drinkability, but it also goes well with carpaccio, shellfish and crustaceans, as well as fresh cheeses and light vegetarian dishes.
