CHARACTERISTICS

  • Sensations It is a young wine whose deep red colour retains distinct violet hues. The bouquet is fruity, vinous, with clear hints of violets as well as wild berries and cherries. The taste is harmonious, dry and slightly tannic. Light and pleasant, it is suggested to accompany savoury first courses, roast red or white meats, and soft cheeses.
  • Vinification the grapes undergo fermentation at a controlled temperature of between 22°C and 25°C, peaking at 30°C towards the end of fermentation. This is followed by a maceration process of approximately 14 to 16 days until the sugars are completely exhausted and for at least another 4 days post-fermentation.

  • It was 1938 when Altero and Maria Franceschini, thinking about the future of their family, decided to start a small wine business. In 1978, all the commitment and tradition was inherited by their children, who set up Enogest: the passion is great and the tenacity is that of someone who was born and raised in the company. Successes were not long in coming: in 1982, in fact, the company's presence on the German market was consolidated for the first time (a winning choice, no doubt).
