Founded in 1907 by the will of a few winemakers in their own visionary way, today it is one of the most solid entities in northern Italy, with wines appreciated, and awarded, in every part of the world. If one thinks of Alto Adige and its good varietals, San Michele Appiano cannot be missed. Indeed, its production is dominated by wines made from the region's typical grapes, from Gewürztraminer to Müller Thurgau. From Sauvignon to Riesling. From Pinot Blanc to Lagrein. All mountain grapes that grow thanks to the mild climate and unique soils of its vineyards. Today the winery can count on about 400 hectares under vine.
