Made in France
Produced and bottled by Nicolas Feuillatte – Chouilly, France
Nicolas Feuillatte presents this spectacular Champagne Réserve Exclusive Rosé. Its strong point is undoubtedly the richness of its bouquet, thanks to the blend of 45 percent Pinot Noir, 45 percent Meunier and 10 percent Chardonnay. Matured for about 36 months on its lees, it is an explosion of summer red fruit aromas. Hints of red currant, blueberry and raspberry combined with a hint of wild strawberries. A fresh and exuberant Champagne, it is perfect for summer consumption. In the glass, it reveals an intriguing deep pink color, fine and persistent mousse, well supported by a fine and long-lasting perlage. On tasting, then, one discovers a soft and harmonious sparkling wine, with a perfect correspondence to what was perceived previously. On the table it can satisfyingly accompany both fish dishes, such as tuna carpaccio, and meat dishes. Fabulous, for example, with a simple knife-sliced prosciutto and fragrant goat cheese.
"If Champagne is an exceptional product, it should not be reserved for exceptional occasions." This is the philosophy of the youngest of the great Champagne Houses. We are talking about Nicolas Feuillatte, an interesting company based in Chouilly, "in the heart of the vignoble," or vineyard, five minutes from Épernay. It is a modern cooperative, housed in an equally modern building inaugurated in April 2017 and featuring pure lines that evoke the reliefs of the Champagne region and provide spectacular views of vineyards and villages from the Marne Valley to the Côte des Blancs. Born in Paris in 1926 into a family of prominent wine and spirits importers, Nicolas Feuillatte has a spirit of adventure that led him to try his luck on the other side of the Atlantic after World War II. At age 40, he invested in the Champagne vineyard, creating his own brand in 1976. Commercial success was immediate, and in 1986 he sold his brand to the Centre-Vinicole of Champagne, remaining its unsurpassed ambassador.
