The Cuvée Rosé from Maison Laurent-Perrier is a premium Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. The origins of the Laurent-Perrier Maison go back as far as 1812, when the winery was founded by André Michel Pierlot in Tours-sur-Marne. The turning point in the history of the Maison, however, came a few years later, in 1881, when Eugene Laurent, Pierlot's cellarer, took over the winery with his wife Mathilde Emilie Perrier. Then, after the Second World War, Bernard de Nonancourt took over the management of the Maison and decided to increase production in order to expand the distribution of fine Champagnes to over 140 countries. Today Maison Laurent-Perrier is led by Bernard's daughters, Alexandra Pereyre de Nonancourt and Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt, together with Stephane Dalyac and Michel Fauconnet, the latter being the current Chef de Cave. Today the historic Maison can count on around 150 hectares of vineyards and is distinguished by a special and unique style. Each plot is harvested and vinified separately. Since the 1950s, Maison Laurent-Perrier has been processing each lot strictly in temperature-controlled stainless steel.
