The origins of Maison Laurent-Perrier go back as far as 1812, when the winery was founded by André Michel Pierlot in Tours-sur-Marne. Today Maison Laurent-Perrier is run by Bernard's daughters, Alexandra Pereyre de Nonancourt and Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt, together with Stephane Dalyac and Michel Fauconnet, the latter being the current Chef de Cave. Today the historic Maison can count on around 150 hectares of vineyards and is distinguished by a special and unique style. Each plot is harvested and vinified separately. Since the 1950s, Maison Laurent-Perrier has been processing each lot strictly in temperature-controlled stainless steel. In this way, it manages to keep the freshness and aromatic complexity of the initial fruit intact and unaltered. And wine lovers everywhere are grateful to him.
