Carménère Più is a wine conceived by Inama as an alternative to the great wines of Valpolicella. As you can easily guess, it is made from Carménère grapes, in this case 85%, to which about 15% of Merlot is added. Very healthy grapes from organically managed vineyards. After vinification, the wine matures for about a year in barriques, not new, before meeting the bottle for the final stage of refinement in glass. Inama is the first company to have an important project on Carménère in the Berici Hills area and to give identity to this vine with the DOC Colli Berici Riserva. Dark red in colour with blue-violet reflections, this wine has elegant aromas of small dark berries, cocoa and black pepper. In the mouth it is balanced, with excellent freshness, fruity and spicy without tannic hindrance. Excellent in combination with strong flavoured dishes, such as pork, salami and bacon. For a marriage of the territory, Soppressa veneta, strictly cut thickly with a knife, is simply perfect.
The history of the Inama winery is deeply linked to that of its founder, Giuseppe Inama, who for over forty years invested his energies in the vineyards on Monte Foscarino. What he considered, probably rightly, to be one of the most important territories in the Soave area. The winery is located in San Bonifacio, in the province of Verona.
