    • In the heart of the picturesque Valpolicella, Cantina Negrar guards a wine secret that transcends time: the Appassimento Rosso Veneto IGT. Carefully selected grapes are placed to dry in special rooms, an ancient process that concentrates flavours and gives life to a wine of extraordinary depth. This wine is a tribute to the art of the Negrar wine growers, who have been working the land for generations with patience and dedication. This wine reveals a bouquet of black fruit, spices and vanilla, a harmonious symphony of flavours that represents the authentic character of Valpolicella. Moreover, it is an ideal companion for cosy evenings and rich dishes. It pairs perfectly with roast meat, mature cheeses or can be enjoyed on its own for a memorable wine experience.

      A historic winery in Valpolicella. A social winery, that of Valpolicella Negrar, founded in August 1933 by 'six local gentlemen' who united in a society to defend the territory from speculative investments. The aim, now as then, is to reach the consumer directly with products bottled in full respect of the local wine-growing tradition. A tradition that the winery's members cherish and safeguard with religious respect. Few people remember, but it is to the Negrar winery that we owe the birth of Amarone. That was in 1936. Today, the winery can count on around 600 hectares of vineyards, distributed in different areas of the Valpolicella Classica (but not only) and cultivated by around 230 members. It boasts an extensive production of wines that have won international critical acclaim, an environmental protection project and, above all, a line of high quality wines, the Domìni Veneti, which are exported all over the world. How much water has passed under the bridge since that distant August of 1933. And how much wine has been produced since then (and certainly drunk with satisfaction).
